On Columbus Day, October 12, Barbara and I completed our assignment to pray in Annapolis. We started at the World War II Memorial which looks
across the Severn River to the city, and declared what was prophesied by Chuck Pierce and Dutch Sheets in 2004 during their 50-state tour:

*  That Maryland is a state of reversal
*  That the fire of God is over Maryland
*  That God awaken the seed and open the womb of Maryland
*  That the Captain of the Hosts stands in the midst of the state
*  Reconciliation and healing for the Protestant persecution of Catholics in Maryland
*  Reconciliation and healing for split loyalties in Maryland as a border state during the Civil War
*  That, as a former crossing point between North and South, Maryland would help bring reconciliation to the nation

    On the walls of the World War II Memorial, the names of Maryland's honored dead who fought in that war appear on black granite slabs much like
the Vietnam Memorial in Washington. The memorial is dedicated to the 287,000 men and women of Maryland who served their country for the cause of freedom during World War II.

    After declaring the prophecies from the 50-state tour, we stood at the Seal of Maryland at this site and declared that the 6,500 Marylanders who
perished in that conflict would not have died in vain. At a relief in the sidewalk of the Atlantic Theater of Battle, I stood on the Delmarva
Peninsula and declared Maryland the Free State. The Lord instructed us not to stand on it but to kiss it. As we did, we declared peace for the state,
its shores and the bay.

    After this we went to the Circle in Annapolis where the Maryland State House stands. This is the oldest state house still in continuous legislative
use. It was the United States Capitol for nine months after America won the Revolution. Here, in 1791, George Washington resigned his military
commission, an act of unprecedented nobility in an age when military conquerors usually rose to power and became tyrants.

    Significantly, It was from the State House in Annapolis that the call was issued to the states to form the Constitutional Convention, the
gathering which produced the most significant document in our nation's history.

    Outside the State House is a bronze statue of Thurgood Marshall, the first African American Justice of the United States Supreme Court. We stood in front of this venerable building and prayed for elected officials and their staffs and the laws they enact, that they would be part of the state's
prophetic reversal of unbiblical policies - a reversal which will spread throughout the country.

    We prayed the three things God emphasized to us during Pray for the Bay:

that righteousness reign, that the churches come together, and that the wells of salvation flow freely. On behalf of the Church in Maryland, we
thanked God that He loves us, that he has chosen us out of the world, and that we belong to Him. We thanked Him that we have favor in the eyes of our
friends, worth in the Kingdom of God and the Truth that sets us free. Then we walked around the State House, where I anointed the steps with oil.

    At the harbor, the Annapolis boat show was being held. Sailboats jammed the waterfront - like a sign on Columbus Day. Most of the docks were fenced off but an official sent us to the "dingy docks" where we could pray next to the harbor. We declared the righteous justice and the righteous judgment of King Jesus as we planted the golden stake in the water which connects with the Chesapeake Bay. We declared righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit and revival in Maryland.

    As we walked back to the car, we passed the main gate of the United States Naval Academy. We anointed the sign and prayed for the future leaders
who would come from that institution.

    It was a nautical place on a nautical day which celebrates the discovery of the New World. As Maryland becomes the state which reverses laws, causing a transformation across the nation, we will lead the way into a new world.
